LT ENVIRONMENTAL POLICY

Louth Transformer Company Ltd. accepts our responsibility for the harmful effects
our operations have on both the local and global environment, and is committed to
reducing them. Louth Transformer Company will comply with, and aims to exceed
all relevant environmental legislation through a process of continual review and
improvement. Louth Transformer Company has enlisted the support of our staff in
order to achieve our environmental goals.

       OFFICE
A large majority of company correspondence is conducted electronically via email,
therefore reducing the environmental impact of postage and paper waste.

       PRODUCTION
Due thought is to be given at the design stage of our products to ensure that the
minimum amounts of materials are employed to do the job properly. Wastage and
reject matter during production is kept to the lowest level possible, all unavoidable
scrap metals to be collected by a suitable licensed scrap dealer.

       DESPATCH
The despatch department tries wherever possible to recycle all incoming packaging,
for example; padded envelopes, loose-fill, cardboard cartons, and pallets.

       SALES
A positive decision has been taken not to use a company sales representative
continually driving around the country, but to use other forms of advertising such
as the internet. Our company catalogue has been produced in A5 size to save paper
       when printed.

       MAINTENANCE
The use of water based paints wherever possible. All paper products to be derived
from sustainable sources, garden waste to be composted.

       GENERAL
All machines, equipment, and lighting to be switched off
when not in use. Heating thermostat set to most efficient
levels. In order to comply with the revised waste framework
directive, we have implemented a dry mixed recycling
scheme from an Environment Agency accredited provider.
